Rev. Pinkney Thomas PT Holland, Jr., age 80, passed away July 22, 2008 in Sarasota, Fl. PT was born December 30, 1927 in Wauchula, Fl. and had lived in Arcadia since 1966 moving here from Dade City, Fl. PT retired from the state of Fl. Department of Transportation as a foreman. He was an ordained minister in the Church of God faith. He was a member of Arcadia Church of God. He was an insurance agent at one time for Independent Life Ins. in Hardee Co., Fl. He had served as pastor at Arcadia Assembly of God, Arcadia for several years. PT loved sharing the Word of God to anyone who would listen. He loved spending quality time with his family and grandchildren. PT is survived by two sons, Samuel (Ronda) Holland, Valrico, Fl. Benjamin Ben (Tina) Holland, Arcadia, Fl., three daughters, Elaine Salinda, and Janet Holland Tew, both of Arcadia and Glenda Lynn (Steve) Lowe, Seffner, Fl., 18 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. PT is preceded in death by his beloved wife Dorothy Elizabeth Holland, May 23, 2003. Visitation will be held from 6:00PM until 8:00PM July 24, 2008 from Ponger-Kays-Grady Chapel, 50 No. Hillsborough Ave., Arcadia, Fl. Funeral services will be at 3:00PM Friday, July 25, 2007 at Ponger-Kays-Grady Chapel, with Dr. Norman Holland, Professor at South Eastern University, Lakeland, Fl., Rev. Barry Taylor, and Rev.
