Philip Earl Harrison, 63 years old, passed away in Port Charlotte, Florida on February 24, 2024. Philip was born on April 14, 1960, and is the son of Charles W Harrison, Sr and Fay T Harrison of Arcadia. After a long battle of health issues all his life, he went to be with our heavenly Father. Other than his family that he loved so much; his next love was racing sports cars.
He started racing motorcycles in his early teens and went into car racing a few years later. He raced at the Sebring International Raceway for many years. He won many races in Georgia, Florida, Alabama, and Virginia. He has lived in DeSoto County all his life and took pride in his herd of deer and turkeys that he fed every morning and night. Philip was of Baptist faith. Even though he didn't attend church every day, he kept his bible on the table and read it every morning and night.
Philip is survived by his mother, Fay T Harrison, his brother Charles W Harrison Jr. (Paula), his niece Cristinia Harrison-Hickox (Steven), his nephews, Charles W Harrison III, Colt Harrison (Jordan) and Jackson Beers.
