She Graduated in 1984 with her M.S.N. from the University of Maryland to pursue her career as a Nurse.  She was a member of the Faith Temple Church in Berryton, Georgia.  Her main interest was her Family, Her beautiful home and her dog Copper.

She will be remembered as a beautiful soul that cared for her family and children and loved to help people.

She is Survived by her loving husband Robert B. Croy, Children; Justin (Maria) Croy of North Port, FL., Jeff (Dawn) Croy of Bradenton, FL., William (Pat) Croy of Foley, AL., Jeffrey Croy of Bradenton, FL., Alex Croy of Bradenton, FL., her sister, Elaine Pledger, and grandchildren; Gerald Nelson and Joey Nelson and Niece Missy Carr.

She is preceded in death by her father, Dewitt Harold Venable, mother Lessie Lucille Brown, brother Harold Venable, sisters, Shirley Benedict, Glenda Harden, Doris Grant and Jean Wooten.

A Graveside service will be held on Wednesday May 18, 2022, 1:30 pm, at the Sarasota National Cemetery 9810 State Road 72, Sarasota, FL 34241.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
