Patricia J. Mobbs, age 56, passed away Tuesday, March 16, 2010 at home. She was born May 7, 1953 in Colchester, VT. She moved to Florida seventeen years ago from Richmond, VT. Patricia was of the Presbyterian faith and a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Arcadia. Patricia was a very loving, giving individual and will be missed by her family and friends. Patricia worked helping patients within the medical field as a CNA and worked for several local hospitals and nursing home facilities. She also volunteered as a Pink Lady for Desoto Memorial Hospital. Patricia also loved animals, making ceramics and playing card games with her family. She is survived by her loving parents, Robert L. and Gloria J. Mobbs of Arcadia, FL., two sisters; Susan Butts and Gail Hall both of Arcadia, FL. and one brother; Donald Mobbs of Jericho, VT. Numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother; Michael Mobbs. A Memorial Service and Celebration of Patricia s life will be held Monday, March 22, 2010 at 11:00AM at the chapel of Ponger-Kays-Grady Funeral Home, 50 N.
