Ovelia G. Guerra, born November 25, 1943, in Edinburg, Texas went to be with the Lord on June 6, 2022, surrounded by her loved ones.

Ovelia loved spending time with her family. She was loved by all those that she crossed paths with. She was known for always giving great advice. She was also an avid plant lover. She attended the Kingdom Hall Church of Arcadia.

She is survived by her husband of 59 years Francisco "Chacho" Guerra. She had seven children, six sons and one daughter. They are, Francisco (Mary Ann) Guerra, Eloy (Sandra) Guerra, Adrian Guerra, Alberto Guerra, Noe (Jamie) Guerra, Leonel (Becky) Guerra and Belia (Richard) Flores. She also has two sisters, Oralia Day and San Juanita Morales.

Ovelia had twenty-one grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren and one on the way. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her father and mother, Amancio Garza and Gregoria Garza.

At a later date Ovelia will be taken to Edinburg, Texas to be laid to rest with her mother.
