In Loving Memory of Noel Cuevas
Noel Cuevas, affectionately known as Noey, Nonnie, No No departed from our lives on March 8, 2024 at the age of 38, leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. A devoted husband, son, brother, stepfather, cousin, nephew, and grandson, Noel's vibrant spirit touched the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Born with a love for the great outdoors, Noel's spirit was at home amidst the wilderness. Whether it was hog hunting, fishing, navigating swamp buggies, or gliding through the waters on airboats, Noel found solace and joy in nature's embrace. His passion for the wilderness was rivaled only by his dedication to his craft. A graduate of DeSoto County High School, Class of 2003, Noel embarked on a remarkable journey, establishing himself as a talented lineman for various electric companies at a young age.
Noel was not only a free spirit but also a man of style, ensuring his impeccable appearance with wrinkle-free shirts. Noel's true essence shone through in his genuine friendships and his eagerness to share his love for the outdoors with others.
Surrounded by the love of his life, Ana, and a close circle of family and friends, Noel left this world to be reunited with his brother, Guadalupe "Billy" Cuevas, in heaven. In addition to reuniting with his brother in the afterlife, Noel joins his grandparents, Arnulfo and Catarina Cuevas, and Janie Elisondo. He is also reunited with his departed cousins, Abel Quintero and Carlos Martinez.
He is survived by his cherished wife Ana Cuevas and his adored stepchildren, Prisco, Abril, Emilio, and Benjamín Solis. Noel is also survived by his parents, Guadalupe Cuevas, Sr., and Mary Jane Elisondo, along with his loving sisters, Jessica (Danny) Salas and Jennifer (Marcos) Silva. Noel's memory lives on through his niece and nephews, Justin Salas, Tyson Silva, Nicolas Salas, Emilio Silva, and Melena Silva. He leaves behind a network of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends, all of whom will deeply miss his presence.
Rest in peace, dear Noel. You will be forever missed and always remembered with love.
