Nidia Perez, Age-66, of Arcadia, FL passed away on Monday May 9 ^th , 2022, at her residence. Nidia has been a resident of Arcadia for the last 36 years. Nidia was born on November 9 ^th , 1955, in Villalba, Puerto Rico where she graduated from Francisco Zayas High School. Nidia was employed with Catholic Charities as a clerk and was an active member of St. Paul's Catholic Church here in Arcadia. She enjoyed attending her bible study and being active with her brothers and sisters at St. Paul's. Nidia will be remembered as a kind loving person and was willing to help her church or friends and family when needed.

She is survived by her loving husband of 42 years Miguel Gonzalez, daughter; Aidin Gonzalez of Arcadia, FL and son; Jorge Gonzalez of Dade City, Florida. She is survived by one brother; Fernando Perez, three sisters; Lidia Perez, Mabel Perez and Haydee Perez, one grandson; Jeremiah A. Medina. She is preceded in death by many loving family members and friends.

A viewing will be held on Thursday May 12 ^th from 5-7pm at Ponger-Kays-Grady Funeral Home 50 North Hillsborough Ave Arcadia, FL. A mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday May 13 ^th at 11:00am at St. Paul's Catholic Church 1208 East Oak St. Arcadia, FL. Interment to follow in Joshua Creek Cemetery.
