Nicholas Brooke "Nicky" Diamond, 71, of Arcadia, FL passed away on November 16 ^th , 2019 in Arcadia, FL. He was born on February 23 ^rd , 1948 to the late Joseph Brooke Diamond and Mona Nancy Swan in Coral Gables, FL. He was a member of the Arcadia community for 64 years.

Nick served his country in the United States Marine Corps, was a Vietnam veteran, was retired with the United States Postal Service, and also retired from the Florida Department of Corrections. He was a member of the Elks Lodge and of the Defenders Motorcycle Club – he especially adored being on the road, one of his greatest loves being traveling around the country on his motorcycle. If he wasn't on his bike or working on cars, he could be found at one of his favorite fishing spots or spending time with his beloved family. Nick was of the Christian faith.

Nick is survived by his loving wife of many years, Charlana Diamond of Arcadia, FL; his sons, Dennis (Kayla) Diamond of Arcadia, FL and Aiden Cole Diamond of Arcadia, FL; his daughter, Ericka Diamond of Bradenton, FL and his stepdaughter Michaela Clemons of Port Charlotte, FL; his sister, April Hodges of Arcadia, FL; and five grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents.

A visitation will be held on Friday, November 22 ^nd , 2019 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Ponger-Kays-Grady Funeral Home, 50 N Hillsborough Ave. Arcadia, FL 34266. A graveside funeral will be held at Joshua Creek Cemetery on Saturday, November 23 ^rd , 2019 at 11:00 AM with Pastor Brian Russell officiating and military honors rendered by the Marine Corps Honor Guard.
