Nancy J. Welker, age 92, of Arcadia, Fl. passed away, January 16, 2009 in Arcadia. Nancy was born May 10, 1916 in Quitman, Arkansas and had lived in Arcadia since 2001, moving here from Arkansas. Nancy worked as a factory worker for the automobile industry. She was a homemaker and an active member of Temple Baptist Church, Arcadia. She loved her Lord, Jesus Christ and wasn t bashful in proclaiming His name. and doing His work. Survivors are a daughter, Ramona (Rev. James) King, Arcadia, brothers; Elmer Ridling, Fred. Ridling, John Ridling, Ted Ridling, Wayne Ridling, and Otis Ridling; sisters Artie Bearden, Bonnie George, and Jewell Tanner. two grandchildren; Sandra Kelley, Kentucky and James Cavanaugh, Fl. Nancy is preceded in death by her beloved husband, James V. Welker in 2003 and a grandchild Pamela Lane. Visitation will be conducted from 12:00Noon until 2:00 PM Tuesday, January 20, 2009 from Ponger-Kays-Grady Funeral Home Chapel, 50 No. Hillsborough Ave, Arcadia, Fl. Funeral Service will be conducted at 2:00 PM Tuesday, Jan. 20, 2009 from Ponger-Kays-Grady Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. James King officiating.
