With hearts both heavy and grateful, we remember the life of Moises Erik Whigham, whose journey among us began on November 30, 1998, and concluded far too soon on June 29, 2026. In these precious years, Moises filled the lives of his family, friends, and all who were fortunate enough to know him with warmth, humor, and an enduring spirit of kindness, and his presence left an imprint that will not soon fade. Childhood laughter echoed in his relationships with his brothers and sisters as they navigated life’s challenges and triumphs together.
Moises was the beloved son of Constance Hernandez and Jesus Hernandez, whose love and unwavering support shaped the person he became. He was a cherished brother to Alejandro Hernandez, Christopher Hernandez, Esperanza Pummell, and Millie Hernandez, their shared memories a testament to the unbreakable bond they forged as siblings, Fiancé: Amanda Nunez. Though he will be missed beyond measure, his light continues to shine through each of them.
As we gather to say our farewells, we reflect on a life devoted to family and strengthened by love. For those wishing to honor Moises and share memories, a visitation will take place on Monday, July 6, 2026, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm at Ponger Kays Grady Funeral Homes, 50 N Hillsborough Ave, Arcadia, FL 34266. A memorial service will follow at the same location from 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm, providing a time to come together in remembrance and gratitude for the gift of Moises’s life.
Though the sorrow of his absence is deep, we are comforted by the indelible mark he leaves upon our hearts. Moises Erik Whigham’s life reminds us of the power of connection, the beauty of shared laughter, and the profound legacy left by those who love generously. His memory will be held close by his family, his friends, and all who walked even a short while beside him.
