Mildred M. Hill, age 94 passed away Monday, November 6, 2023, in Sarasota, Florida. She was born August 27, 1929, to Ealem O. Matthews and Ollie Norris in Moultrie, Georgia.  Mildred graduated from Bradenton High School. She enjoyed outdoor activities including fishing. She was employed at G.P.W for 25 years as a charge aide.

She is survived by son Joseph E. Hill (Elizabeth) from Bradenton, Florida, brother Eugene Matthews from Parrish, Florida, sister Christine Streck's from Orlando, Florida and three grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, and three great grandchildren.
Mildred is preceded in death by her parents Ealem and Ollie Matthews, husband Emanuel Hill, Daughters Debra Marlene Hill, and Susan Lorraine Hill, Brothers Millard Medford Matthews, Wille Dean Matthews, Willard Matthews, Wilburn Matthews, and sister Wilma Whidden.

Visitation will be Friday, November 10, 2023, from 10-11am at Ponger-Kays-Grady Chapel in Arcadia, Florida. Services will follow at 11am at Ponger-Kays-Grady Chapel. Burial at Oak Ridge Cemetery with Pastor Ellis Cross officiating.
