Michael Piarulli, 91, passed away at his home in Arcadia surrounded by his family on March 2. Mike was born on November 14, 1932 in New York City to the late Rosaria (Minninni) and Carlo Piarulli.

Mike proudly served in the US Army and worked for the Mahopac School District for 32 years. He retired to Arcadia, Florida where he enjoyed playing golf and relaxing by the Peace River. He greeted everyone with a smile and was known as "Tractor Mike" at Cross Creek, driving his tractor until he was 91 years old.

He is survived by his children, Carl (Denise), Mario, JoAnn (Joe), Michael (Beth) and Rosemarie (Dickie), his grandchildren, Michael (Tiffany), Deanna (Youssef), Maria, Joey, Isabel and Dominick and great granddaughter, Sienna.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Helen Albanese and his brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Jack and Isabelle Romita. His wife, Marie Piarulli, passed away on March 4, after a brief illness.

Funeral services for Mr. Piarulli will be held privately.
