Michael Ian Adams, cherished husband, devoted father, and adored Opa, passed away peacefully on April 27, 2026. Born on April 7, 1963, Michael devoted his life to his career as a heavy equipment mechanic, where he was admired for his strong work ethic and unwavering commitment. Above all, his greatest accomplishment and love was for his family. He found his greatest joy in their love, laughter, and togetherness, always placing them at the center of his world. Michael had an extraordinary gift for friendship; wherever he went, he could spark a connection and make a new friend. His warmth and genuine interest in others drew people to him, creating lasting relationships that extended far beyond his family. Whether in familiar circles or among strangers, Michael's kindness and approachability made everyone feel welcome and valued.

Michael's legacy lives on through his loving wife Barbara, his three children, Chelsea (John) Day , Ryan (Mallorie) Adams , and Megan (John) Holmes, and his treasured grandchildren: Elizabeth, John, Adalyn, Brilee, Josie, Alice, and a soon-to-arrive grandchild in November, along with his loving father Ron Desfosses, brother Terry Adams, sister-in-law Bonnie, brother-in-law Don Ross, and nephews Thomas, Justin, Tim Ross and Matthew Adams. He was a pillar of strength and kindness, always offering support, wisdom, and unconditional love to those closest to him. Michael will forever be remembered for his deep devotion to his family, and the lasting bonds he created with each generation. His memory will be carried in the hearts of all who knew him, especially his family, whose lives he filled with love and guidance. Michael precedes in his death by his mother Elisabeth Brooks.

A Celebration of Life has been scheduled for June 6th to honor and remember Michael Ian Adams. Family, friends, and all whose lives were touched by Michael are invited to gather, share memories, and reflect on his legacy of kindness, devotion, and unwavering love.
