Matthew James Tomlinson,  March 14, 1942 - March 26, 2022, age 80 of Wauchula, Florida passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 26, 2022.   He was a lifelong resident of Hardee County, born and raised in Lemon Grove.

He was a Loyal, Committed, Dedicated, Honest Christian man and a Deacon at the Northside Baptist Church.

Matt worked for 43 years at the Range Cattle Station with the University of Florida.

He will be remembered for his favorite saying, "I do not know".

He is survived by siblings John Tomlinson, Ethel Maroney and Eileen O'Neal, in-laws Zedra (Arlene) Summers, Larry (Joyce) Summers, Gerald (Marvelle) Caulder and Fayree Grimes.

He is preceded in death by his loving wife Anna Jean, parents Richard (Mary Francis) Tomlinson and Sister Nancy Tomlinson.

There will be a visitation March 31, 2022, at 10:00am at the Northside Baptist Church, Wauchula, Florida, with the Service to follow at ll:00am.  Burial will be at Hart Cemetery in Lemon Grove, Florida.
