Mary Elizabeth Wawrzynczak, 62, passed away on October 31, 2021 after a long and courageous battle with cancer. She was the daughter of the late Donald and Marjean O'Bryant of Buchanan, Michigan. After her graduation from Buchanan High School in 1977, Mary earned her LPN in Bellingham, WA. After returning to Michigan, she met the love of her life, Robert Wawrzynczak, and they were married in Buchanan on September 14, 1984. They were blessed with a son Timothy and a daughter, Andrea.

Mary had a kind and generous heart, which made her a wonderful nurse, wife, mother, and grandmother. The births of her three grandchildren brought Mary joy beyond description.

Mary is survived by her husband, Robert Wawrzynczak, her son Timothy (Jennifer) Wawrzynczak, her daughter Andrea (Peter) Jacobson, and her grandchildren, Evelyn Wawrzynczak, Tobias Wawrzynczak, and Elias Jacobson. She will be sadly missed by her siblings Debbie (Joe) Lonie, Patti West, Rose (Hank) Christopher, Carol (Reinhard) Brandt, John (Juli) O'Bryant, Paula (Karl) Kroening, and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

As Mary requested, cremation has taken place, and her cremains will be interred at a later date. In place of flowers, the family has requested that Masses be offered on her behalf.
