Mary Lara Thompson, age 80, passed away on Monday, January 22, 2024 in Sebring, Florida. She was born on August 14, 1943 in Monte Alto, Texas to the late Luciano and Benita Lara.

She has lived in Wauchula most of her life. Mary was a member of Maranatha Baptist Church in Sebring, Florida. A homemaker dedicated to her family.

She is survived by her four children Benita Serrano of Wauchula, Florida, Maria Serrano of Zolfo, Springs, John JR. Thompson and Larry Thompson of Mississippi.

Visitation of family and friends will be held on Saturday, February 3, 2024  from 11:00am until 12:00pm at Ponger-Kays Grady Funeral Home 205 N. 9th Ave Wauchula, Florida 33873.

Funeral Services will follow at 12:00pm. Burial will be at Bowling Green Cemetery 4852-4890 Bryan Ave, Bowling Green 33834.
