Mary Virginia (Gingi) Brown Schultz passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday, January 2, 2024. She was born to a pioneer family in Arcadia, Florida, in 1944 and was the youngest of four children. She attended Brenau Academy in Gainesville, Georgia, and graduated from DeSoto High School.

She was a Christian and is survived by her children, Mimi (Tim) Steger and Matthew Schultz, and former spouse Robert Schultz. She was a beloved 'Gran' to three grandchildren, Trevin, Cullen, and Esther, and two great-granddaughters, Lydia and Hadley, and was loved dearly by the daughters of her older sister, Lisa Lynn, Beth and Chele. She will also be greatly missed by the many nieces, nephews and cousins she leaves behind.

The family is hosting a viewing at 10 a.m. on January 9, 2024, with a brief service at 11 a.m. at Ponger Kays Grady Funeral Home in Arcadia on January 9, 2024, and will be followed by interment at Joshua Creek Cemetery. Friends and family are then invited to gather afterward at First Presbyterian Church in Arcadia.
