Marvin B. Walker Jr, 91, passed away on Monday, March 18, 2024, in Wauchula, Florida. He was born in Wauchula, Florida on February 26,1933.

He was a life long resident of Wauchula where he was a rancher, retired from Agrico. As a young man he served in the US. Army during the Korean war in the 82nd Airborne Division. He was a member of Dry Prairie Baptist Church.

He was a Ham Radio Operator, he enjoyed hunting, fishing and growing a garden. His family and friends will always remember him as "Pop" always ready with a joke and a smile.

He is survived by his son Marvin B. Walker III (Marilyn) of Ft Green, Florida and he was the youngest of eight brothers and sisters. There is one grandchild, Matthew walker (Bekah) and one Great-grandchild, Lucy Ada Walker.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Ada Aline Walker (Susan), parents, Marvin and Edith Walker.

There will be a Family Gathering on Friday, March 22, 2024, from 1-3PM, at Ponger-Kays-Grady Funeral Home Chapel at 205 N. 9th Ave Wauchula, Florida, dress is casual, please feel free to come in jeans or shorts.
