Martha Torres Alvarado

Martha Torres Alvarado passed away on July 21, 2026. She was born on April 17, 1964, in Wauchula, FL. Her parents were Frank Rosendo Torres and Wilma Fher. She had lived in this area her entire life.

She attended a Bible Institute and had a cleaning business. She was an evangelist and Pastor at Christ the Light of the World Ministry.

She liked walking on the Beach, going to parks, loved taking walks and enjoyed fishing. She also enjoyed watching Christian movies and going to church.

She will be remembered as a loving caring person who loved helping the homeless, giving advice and was a very social able lady.

She is preceded in death by her parents Frank and Wilma Torres and her brothers, Daniel Torres and David Mark Torres.

She is survived by her husband Ruben, brother Michael Torres and 10 grandchildren, her nieces Denise Williams of Bartow, FL and Nicole Rodriguez of Wauchula, FL.

There will be a Graveside service, Monday August 3, 2026, at 11:00AM at the Lake Dale Baptist Church Cemetery. Pastor Kenny Sanders will be officiating. The church is located at 3102 Heard Bridge Rd., Wauchula, FL 33873.
