Martha JoAn Albritton Wingate MacDonald age 84 passed away on Sunday, June 11, 2023. Her parents were John Moody Albritton and Ruth Ann Brown, she was born in Bradenton, Florida on October 22, 1938.

She was a member of the Myakka City Baptist Church and a lifelong resident of Myakka City, Florida. She loved her church.

Martha enjoyed fishing, she fished all over Myakka City, the Myakka River and all the potholes and ponds, as well as gardening and bicycle riding. She loved her Lord Jesus Christ and shared her love for him with whoever would listen. She could not imagine the Crowns of Glory waiting for her, because of her obedience to the LORD.

She is preceded in death by her parents, John and Ruth Albritton and her brother Clyde S. Albritton, her first husband Dozier Wingate of Myakka City and husband George A. MacDonald.

The Funeral Service will be on Friday, June 16, 2023, at the Myakka City Baptist Church beginning at 1:00PM, Pastor Jimmie Driggers will be officiating. Burial will follow at the Old Miakka Cemetery.
