Martha Jean Grant, 89, of Arcadia, FL passed away October 29, 2021, at Bayfront Health in Port Charlotte. She was born January 19, 1932, in Miami to George and Aliene Dillard. Before moving to Arcadia last year, she had lived for over 35 years in Ft Myers, FL. She spent her life as a devout Christian and enjoyed teaching Sunday school, listening to gospel music, and singing in the church choir. She loved caring for her family and her home. Locally, she was a member of the N. Hillsborough Baptist Church.

She is survived by her daughter, Cathee (Kevin) Durrance; daughter-in-law, Sharon Grant, grandchildren, Lori Wells, Julian Grant IV, Charlotte Grant-Frierson, Shawn Grant, Amanda Christy, Mark Grant, Elijah Grant, Brittany Grant, Shelby Dottore, Lacy Grant, Timothy Grant Jr, David Ford, Cacee Hilliard, and Tyler Ford; many great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her former husband, Julian L. Grant, Jr, sons, Julian L. Grant, III, Mark S Grant, Timothy Grant, daughters-in-law, Della and Rhonda Grant, and her parents.

It was Martha's wish that there be no services, a private burial will be at the Joshua Creek Cemetery.
