Obituary

Marie Dolores Macias, age 85, passed away on August 24, 2026. She was born in Guadalcazar, Mexico April 4, 1941, to Florencio Vidales and Macaria Izaguirra. She had lived in this area for 48 years.

She was deeply committed to her church and her faith. She attended the Church of the Living God faithfully and had been a faithful member since 1969.

All her time was spent taking care of her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She loved her family intensely and had a deep love for all the children that she met. She had a strong temperament and was courageous in raising six boys and never wavering from her deep faith in her Saviour. She cared for her husband and family faithfully for close to 60 years of her life. She will be greatly missed but has given her family the greatest gift of all a Christian Legacy of Faithfulness.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Florencio and Macaria Vidales, son Samuel Macias; brothers, Seberiano Vidales and Valentine Vidales and sister, Hermila Luna.

She is survived by her husband Anastacio Macias, Jr., her children; Anastacio Macias III, Andres Macias and Pablo Macias all of Wauchula, FL, Daniel Macias of Zolfo Springs, FL, Tomas and Stephanie Macias of Grand Island, FL, and Alex and Kristin Macias of Tallahassee, FL. Her brothers and sisters include Bonnie Gonzales, Ixtla Vidales, Mickie Vidales, Carmen Vidales, and Lucy Cruthcfield. There are 7 grandchildren; Zack Macias, Caleb Macias, Hannah Macias, Staci Macias, Selena Macias, Pablo Macias Jr. and Javier Macias. Also, her 3 great-grandchildren; Sailor Bee Fimbres, Summer Fimbres, and Lola Jean Macias.

The Visitation will be at the Church of the Living God, at 4100 Dixieana Drive, Bowling Green, Florida 33834, on Saturday, August 29th from 10:00AM—11:00AM, the Service will follow at 11:00AM, with Pastor Eduardo Montalvo officiating. The burial will follow at the Bowling Green Cemetery. There will be a meal provided for family and friends following the burial at the Bowling Green Church of God located at 121 W. Broward St., Bowling Green, FL 33834.
