Marian Toni E. McGlone, age 91, of Arcadia, Fl. passed away Tuesday, December 2, 2008 in Arcadia. She was born June 30, 1917 in Carson City, MI and moved to Arcadia 30 years ago from Waterford, MI. Marian was a charter member of the Elks Lodge # 2606, Eagles Club, she loved to play golf, was an avid collector of elephants , had a big soft spot for dogs and was described by family and friends as a fantastic cook. She was a member of the Nocatee United Methodist Church, Nocatee, Fl. She is survived by two sons Robert (Kathy) McGlone of Las Vegas, NV, Ronald (Lois) Hunt of Clarkston, MI, two grand daughters Wendy and Shelly and two great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband George C. McGlone, a daughter Sharon McGlone and her parents John and Gladys Martin. Memorial Services and a celebration of her life will be held Saturday, December 6, 2008 at 11:00AM at the Nocatee United Methodist Church, 4502 SW Welles Ave., Nocatee, Fl. with Rev. Patrick C. Elmore officiating. Interment to follow at a later date at Royal Palm Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Punta Gorda, Fl.
