Maria Delcarmen Ortiz, age 44 passed away on January 24, 2023. She was born in Cordele, Georgia, and was resident of Zolfo Springs, Florida for 30 years. She attended St. Michaels Catholic Church; she was a loving mother, and her greatest joy was being around her family.

She is survived by her mother Adena Chapa and father John Paul Chapa.

She is survived by children, Vanessa and (Austin) Judah, Aaliyah and (Eric) Miranda, Brother, John Bluchi Chapa, and Sister Victoria Chapa. She is also survived by her soon to be 1st Grandchild, and 15 nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her father John Paul Chapa.

A visitation will take place at Ponger Kays Grady Funeral Home in Wauchula, Florida on Tuesday, January 31, 2023, at 10:00-12:00, and the service will be at 12:00PM at Ponger Kays Grady Funeral Home in Wauchula, Florida. Burial will follow at Wauchula City Cemetery, Wauchula, Florida. Father Juan Florenz will Officiate.
