Maria Aguilar De Castro passed away on December 25, 2023, in Sarasota, Florida. Maria was born on December 10, 1963, in Michoacan, Mexico to Luis Aguilar and Teresa Pimentel-Mexico.

Maria was a Food Truck operator and loved spending time with her family and grandchildren. Working her Food Truck was her passion as well as taking care of her plants and flowers and keeping her grandchildren occupied.

She is preceded in death by her father, Luis Aguilar.

She is survived by her husband Anatolio Castro, her daughters Mavel (Juan) Gonzalez, Ariana, Dania (Hugo) Gonzalez and Litzy, all of Arcadia, Florida. She is also survived by her 10 grandchildren who will miss her greatly, Jaylene, Junior, Jael, Julian, Dariana, Christin, Geovanny, Omar, Ilana and Diego.

There will be a Visitation on Friday, December 29, 2023, from 5:00PM – 7:00PM with the Rosary at 6:00PM in the Chapel of Ponger-Kays-Grady Funeral Homes, 50 N. Hillsborough Avenue.

The Funeral Mass will be on Saturday, December 30, 2023, at 1:00PM at St. Paul's Catholic Church with Father Remi officiating. The Burial will follow at Joshua Creek Cemetery.
