Marguerite "Dale" Crosby, age 94, passed away October 9, 2024. She was born November 1, 1929. She graduated in 1947 from Everglades High. She has lived in this community from 21 years. Dale was employed at Memorial Grammar School as a teacher's aide, also was a seamstress and could write poetry about anything. She attended Mt. Ephraim Baptist and Temple Baptist Church.

Dale enjoyed water skiing until age 70, fresh and saltwater fishing, loved camping, enjoyed working in her yard and loved picnics and family outings.

Her family will remember her a a wonderful seamstress, she could see something we liked and make a pattern from a newspaper and sew it to fit perfectly. She made our wedding gowns and majorette suits for dad's band.

Dale is survived by her children Nathan Duane Crosby from Arcadia, Florida, Debra (Debbie) Vickers from Arcadia, Sandra Watkins (Frank) from Arlington, Texas, and Linda DeRosa (Pete) from Crystal River, Florida, and siblings Faustine Simmons from Ohio, Claudette Craumer from Naples, Florida, Anne Todd from Gainesville, Florida, and Fred Williams from Naples, Florida, along with ten grandchildren, and seventeen greatgrandchildren, and 15 nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband Nathan Crosby and parents Fred E and Marguerite Williams of Naples Florida.

There will be a private family Celebration of Life.
