Margarita Solis age 75, passed away in Auburndale, Florida on November 2, 2022. She was born on April 27, 1947.  Margarita split her time between Lakeland, Florida and Traverse City, Michigan.

She had been employed by Munson Hospital in the Laundry Department. She enjoyed being a part of the Bayside Church and socializing. She loved her puzzles and Word Search and going to the casino. But, most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family.

She will be remembered for her open arms to all with a sense of humor that could put a smile on everyone's face. She had a great love for God and her family.

She has 26 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.

She is survived by her children, Eulogio (Mary) Garza of Interlochen, Michigan, Annette (Steven) Zuniga of Lakeland, Florida, Mingo Garza of Buckley, Michigan, Betty (Rob) Grubb of Wauchula, Florida, Nick (Trisha) Garza of Traverse City, Michigan, Tommy (Stella) Garza of Traverse City, Michigan, Angela (Shawn) Wolf of Traverse City, Michigan and Emily (Bryan) Zuniga of San Antonio, Texas.

She also has 3 brothers, Moses Ruiz, Jr., Nick Ruiz, Raul Ruiz and 1 sister Paula Vasquez.

She is preceded in death by her husband Roy Solis, parents Moses and Francis Alamaia Ruiz, brother Ruben Ruiz, sisters Pam Morales, Gloria Rodriguez and Janie Rodriguez, along with nieces and nephews, Danny Ruiz, Jessica Ruiz, and Samuel Vasquez as well as a Daughter-in-law Melisa Garza and grandchildren David Garza, Amy Zuniga, and Angel Sol Zuniga.

There will be a Visitation on Monday, November 7, 2022, from 12:00pm – 1:00pm in the Chapel of Ponger-Kays-Grady Funeral Homes Wauchula. The Service will follow from 1:00pm – 2:00pm in the Chapel with the Reverend Polo Morales officiating, the Burial will follow at the Wauchula City Cemetery.
