Margaret Elizabeth Lundy, age 85, passed away July 30, 2011 in Port Charlotte, FL. Margaret was born September 29, 1925 in Pulaski, VA. She moved to Arcadia, Florida 38 years ago from Cortland, New York. Margaret was a graduate of Pulaski High School, class of 1943. She was a homemaker. She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR), the Woman s Club, the Literary Club, and the Garden Club, Arcadia, FL. She was a faithful member of the Grace Lutheran Church, Arcadia, FL. Margaret is survived by two sons, Mack A. (Marilyn) Lundy III, Williamsburg, Virginia, and Timothy C. (Jeri) Lundy, Greenville, SC. three sisters, Carol Cox (James R.), Rural Retreat, VA, Barbara Stoots (Stanley D.), Sebring, FL, and Mary Lee Duncan. Margaret is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 62 years, Mack Andy Lundy Jr., in 2007, her parents, Ernest L. and Gladys E. Hudson, a sister Sara Farmer and brother Ernest L. Hudson Jr.. The funeral service was held at 10:00AM Friday, August 5, 2011 at the funeral home chapel with Rev. David Nabinger officiating and the burial followed at Oak Ridge Cemetery in Arcadia, Florida..
