Obituary

Maleena Valdez, age 4, went to be with the Lord on March 16, 2022, in Arcadia, FL. She was born on July 30, 2017, to Miguel Romo & Savannah Valdez, in Arcadia, FL. She was of Catholic faith and a member of St. Paul's Catholic Church in Arcadia.

She was a  lively, outgoing child, Maleena was known by her friends and family to be smart, ambitious, and ready for anything. She loved watching cartoon shows, playing with baby dolls, making crazy silly faces and loved to dress up. She loved playing at the park, and she always had a smile on her face.

Her family will remember her as a  funny, and loving little girl.

She is survived by her parents Miguel Romo & Savannah Valdez, 1 sister; Jazziah Caylor, grandparents; Joe Valdez, Joe Reyna & Josephine Valdez ; Esmeralda Zamorano, and Rosa & Miguel A. Romo; and an abundance of cousins. Her aunts and uncles include Josephine Valdez (Raul),Joanie Valdez, Abby and (Nicandro) Garcia, Jose Valdez Jr. ,Joanna (Alberto) Gaitan, Samantha (Omar) Montejano, Jacob L. Valdez, Cierra Valdez (Fabian Gaitan), Askia Valdez, Anastasia Valdez and Valeria Romo.

A visitation of family and friends will be held on Thursday, March 24, 2022, from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm with funeral services held at 6:30 pm at the chapel of Ponger-Kays-Grady Funeral Home, 50 N. Hillsborough Ave., Arcadia, FL 34266.
