Lucy E. Fenn, age 66, passed away Thursday, September 10, 2009 in Arcadia. She was born November 8, 1942 in Arcadia and remained a lifetime resident. Lucy was of the Baptist Faith. Lucy was a wonderful mother, grandmother and sister. She enjoyed spending time with her family and will be greatly missed. Lucy graduated from DeSoto High School, Class of 1960, enjoyed many kinds of music; especially classic country and rock and loved to dance. She is survived by two daughters, Lauren Smith (Jesus) Ceja and Leigh Ann Lopez both of Arcadia, two brothers, Don (Glenna) Fenn of Nashville, TN and Billy (Gert) Winfrey of AL, three sisters, Clara Fenn of Kissimmee, FL, Mary Jane (Jerry) Alexander, Sneads, FL and Cookie (Joel) Tidwell of Tallahassee, FL., eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild, numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents Celon and Florida Winfrey Fenn. A Memorial Service and Celebration of Lucy s life will be Monday, September 14, 2009 at 6:30PM with Rev. Jim Robinson officiating at the chapel of Ponger-Kays-Grady Funeral Home, 50 N. Hillsborough Ave., Arcadia.
