Lucille C. Davis Stephens, 89, passed away Friday, October 8, 2010 in Zolfo Springs, FL. She was born September 2, 1921 in Lily, FL and a lifetime resident. She was of the Baptist faith and member of Lily Baptist Church. Lucille was a very loving mother and grandmother and will be missed by her family. She enjoyed traveling to the mountains, fishing and listening to her favorite gospel music. She is survived by one son; Lewis E. (Ann) Stephens of Wauchula, FL.; one daughter Sylvia Jean (L.F) Hines of Lake Wales, FL.; seven grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. Lucille was preceded in death by her parents Raymond J. and Mamie Lorraine Albritton Davis, brothers; John Franklin Davis, Carl Eugene Davis, Lewis E. Davis, Farris Davis, O.A. Davis and Robbie Davis; sisters Velma Coker and Lorraine Norris. A visitation will be held Tuesday, October 12, 2010 from 10:00AM until 11:00AM at Lily Baptist Church, 5076 Lily Church Road, Ona, FL. Funeral services will follow the visitation at 11:00AM at Lily Baptist Church with Rev. Dwaine Willis officiating. Burial will be at Lily Cemetery.
