Louise Hutchison Johnson, 78, passed away on April 2, 2024 in Arcadia, Florida. Born in Volusia County to Horace David and Elizabeth Hutchison on June 11, 1945. However, Louise lived most of her life in Desoto County.

Her happiest days were filled with riding her horses, visits to the Livestock Market for lunch with grandchildren, checking the cows and the companionship of her two fur babies, Pumpkin and Lulu. One of her greatest joys was raising and showing horses, for which she proudly displayed a roomful of trophies and ribbons.

She is survived by her children; Robert Simmons; Mary Simmons Bowers, grandson Michael Bowers; stepchildren, Dale (Julie) Johnson; Tim (Danielle) Johnson; Lee (Rita) Johnson; Tammy (Mark) Barlow; twelve step-grandchildren and her dear friend Rose. She is preceded in death by her husband Lamar Johnson, her sister Lena Hutchison and her parents.
