Louis Allen Towne, age 96 passed away on Tuesday, July 25, 2023, in Port St. Lucie, Florida. He was born on April 13, 1927, to Louis A. Towne and Helen Livermore Towne in Braintree, Massachusetts.

He had lived in Arcadia, Florida for 22 years moving here in 2001. He was a part of Calvary Baptist Church and participated in the Rotary Club, Habitat for Humanity and the Arcadia Historical Society. He was retired from the Sales and Marketing industry.

He grew up at the Thompson Island School for Boys within Boston Harbor. At the age of 17, he joined the US Navy and when WWII ended, he moved to Milwaukee and met Lois Brader. She was his beloved wife for 67 years. Lou committed his life to his family and service to his country and community.

He is preceded in death by his wife Lois Brader Towne, two brothers Charles and Frank Towne and one sister Miriam Lindberg.

He is survived by his son Tod Towne of Jensen Beach, Florida and his daughter Deborah Stevens of Lahaina, Hawaii. He also has 3 Grandchildren and 6 Great-grandchildren.
