Lorine Rene C. Henshaw, age 81, passed away Sunday January 11, 2009 in Arcadia. She was born on February 25, 1927 in Chattanooga, TN moving to Arcadia 46 years ago from Monroe Co., Florida Keys. Rene, as everyone knew her by loved her family very much and spending time with them. She was a very active member of the Am Vet Auxiliary in Arcadia. Her pastime was spent crocheting and was an avid reader of various subject matter. Rene was of the protestant faith. She is survived by two daughters, Fran M. (Rick) Schulze of Las Vegas, NV, and Sue L. (Terry) Welles of Hazlehurst, GA, six grand children and six great-grand children, nephew James Addison of Arcadia and Kissimmee, numerous other nieces and nephews and loving friend, like a daughter Penny Crooks. Rene was preceded in death by her beloved husband Steve R. Henshaw, a son Scotty M. Kever, her parents Walter and Fritzn Johns, eight sisters and one brother. Visitation will be held from 5:00PM to 7:00PM Friday, January 16, 2009 at the chapel of Ponger-Kays-Grady Funeral Home in Arcadia, FL Funeral services will be held at 2:00PM, Saturday, January 17, 2009 graveside Joshua Creek Cemetery, Arcadia, Fl. with Rev.
