Loleta Jane Singletary was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was born on January 8, 1941 in Wauchula, Florida and passed peacefully into the arms of her Savior on November 8, 2022 in Madison, Florida.

She was like a grandmother to everyone who knew her. On Sundays, you would find her faithfully singing in the church choir. She had such a beautiful voice. She loved watching and counting her hummingbirds from her front porch, embroidering her latest project, and working in her garden. And anyone who had one of her prized pies knows she baked the most delicious desserts.

Loleta is survived by her children: Marty Singletary (Mary), Karen Barber (Jim), Dan Singletary (Karen), Dennis Singletary (Robin), Kevin Singletary (Vikki), and many treasured grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Carlston; her parents John and Lillie Richardson; and siblings Randel Richardson, Henry Richardson, J.C. Richardson, Kat Whaley, and Willa Dean Richardson.

Loleta was loved so dearly and her presence will be missed terribly. "Rejoice in the Lord always; and again I say, Rejoice" Phil 4:4

"And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus." Phil 4:7

"The Lord bless thee, and keep thee: The Lord make His face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee: The Lord lift up His countenance upon thee and give thee peace." Numbers 6:24-26

Visitation Thursday, November 17, 2022, from 11:00 am until service time at 12:00 Noon, at Lake Dale Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Lake Dale Baptist Church Cemetery.
