Lisa Katherine Barbour, 53 of Arcadia, FL passed away peacefully at Tidewell Hospice in Arcadia, Saturday, October 30, 2010. Lisa was born August 5, 1957 to parents Thomas G. and Ann E. Dellerman. She is survived by her loving son, Cody Ryan, wife Neelam and grandson Jayden Barbour; brother Mark ( Cindy) Dellerman of Vero Beach, FL. Though Lisa was raised on the east coast of Florida, her family had deep roots in old Florida and particularly Arcadia. She married, traveled extensively through the U.S., but returned home to Arcadia where her family had land and groves. An accomplished cook, she devoted her life to her many friends, entertaining with extravagant meals enjoyed by many. Her main source of pride without doubt was her son Cody and the wonderful young man he has become. She looked forward to the time she could spend with him and his new wife Neelam, their son Jayden and the new grandchild on the way. Lisa was an extraordinarily interesting and loving person who will be deeply missed by all of those who were fortunate to know her and who were touched by her kindness and grace. A celebration of her life in the form of a memorial will be held Wednesday, November 3, 2010 at 6:00PM at the chapel of Ponger-Kays-Grady Funeral Home, 50 N. Hillsborough Ave., Arcadia.
