Lisa Kay Altman Spencer, age 51, passed away on Saturday October 05, 2024, at her home
in Wauchula. She was born on March 21,1973, in Lakeland, Florida to Lester and Wanda
Altman.
She was a lifelong resident of Hardee County where she graduated in 1991 from Hardee
High School. She was employed by Hardee County School Board as a School Teacher and
Alane Academy. She was Teacher of the year at Bowling Green Elementary in 2024.
She was a member of the First Baptist of Wauchula. She enjoyed spending time with
family, the beach, shopping, and Charlie Brown. She will be remembered as a loving,
kindhearted woman who cared deeply for her family, friends, students and community.
Lisa is survived by her husband, Christopher David Spencer and her children; Cody &
(Josie) Spencer of Zolfo Springs, Florida, Shelby Spencer and Bobby Floyd of Bowling
Green, Florida, Lester (Wanda) of Wauchula, Florida and brother Michael (Linda) Altman of Lakeland, Florida and several Nieces and nephews; Brandon and Leanna Altman, Gracie Kynadee, Kambell, Jess Spencer.
She is preceded in death by her grandparents; Claude and Pearl Altman, Joe and Ina Baker.
The Visitation will be Tuesday October 15, 2024, at 10:00AM-11:00AM at First Baptist
Church of Wauchula, 1570 W. Main Street Wauchula, Florida. The Funeral service will
follow at 11:00AM. The Burial will follow at Wauchula City Cemetery.
