Obituary

Linda Sue Marsh, 84, of Arcadia, FL passed away into the arms of her loving Lord and Savior on Saturday, August 1st, 2026 in Sarasota, FL

Linda Sue left this world to be with her Heavenly Father but her Legacy of being a Godly woman, faithful, loving, kind, loyal, gracious, sweet & beautiful inside and out with an unwavering love for her Lord, her Family & her Friends will live on with those who were blessed to know her.

Linda Sue loved fishing like no other! She loved spending time with her grandchildren & great grandchildren. She loved the Beach, studying her Bible and ministering to others. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church for over 50 years where she helped with the youth and taught them in Sunday School for many years. She has been a member of Fort Ogden Baptist Church for 10 years where she loved to worship and listen to God’s Word every chance she got. It was during this time that she felt the Lord calling her into ministering to Children outside of the Church that might not have the opportunity to hear about Jesus. She started a Good News Club at Memorial Elementary School and then most recently joined the team at Nocatee Elementary School. She devoted countless hours and days to this ministry. It meant so much to her. The children loved her as much as she loved them. She was so loved and precious to so many!

She is survived by her loving family who will forever cherish her memory. Her Husband of 65 years, William “W.M.” Marsh. Children, Leah Liedke and husband Larry; Becky Schlabach and husband Darrel. Grandchildren, Josh Schlabach and wife Ana of Arcadia, FL; Kalee Moses and husband Taed of Lithia, FL; Jessica Tilseth and husband Brent of Estero, FL. Four Great Grandchildren, Marshall Schlabach, Salma Schlabach, Marley Moses & Macklin Moses.

She is preceded in death by her Parents, Marvin & Lessie Tidwell and her Brothers Marvin Jr. & Gene Tidwell.

Services will be Thursday, August 6th at First Baptist Church of Fort Ogden, FL. Visitation will be at 10am with the service to follow at 11am. Lunch will be served at the church after the 11am service. The Family of Linda Sue will be gathering that morning prior to the visitation for a graveside service at Joshua Creek Cemetery.
