Lillie G. Hart, age 88, passed away Tuesday morning, July 27, 2010 surrounded by her loving family. She was born February 6, 1922 in Chula, GA and moved to Arcadia fifty-one years ago from Moultrie, GA. Lillie was a wonderful mother, grandmother and sister and will be missed by her family. She enjoyed fishing, reading her Bible, working puzzles and word searches, quilting and cooking for family and friends. She is survived by three sons; Mark (Susanne) Hart of Arcadia, FL., Robert (Shelly) Hart of Wildwood, FL and Harvard Hart of Arcadia, FL; three daughters Carmen Hart of Arcadia, FL., Holly (Floyd) Purvis of Arcadia, FL. and Kathy (Frank) Hunt of Arcadia, FL.; one sister; Corene O Quin of Orlando, FL.; fifteen grandchildren and twenty seven and half great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Fletcher Hart; daughter Martha Pelham,son; I.Jay Garvitte; her parents Harvard and Fannie Henry Dowdy. Memorial services and a Celabration of Lillie s life will be Saturday, July 31, 2010 at 2:00 PM at the chapel of Ponger-Kays-Grady Funeral Home, 50 N. Hillsborough Ave., Arcadia with Rev. Scott Wilcoxen of the Calvary Baptist Church officiating.
