Leroy Bolyard, age 68, passed away April 19, 2011 in Punta Gorda, FL. Leroy was born June 20, 1942 in Detroit, Michigan. He lived in Nocatee, FL at the time of his passing. He worked as an automobile painter until ill health forced him into retirement. He loved just about anything outdoors; fishing, hunting, air boating, swamp buggy races. Leroy was a veteran of the National Guard and of the protestant faith He is survived by four sons; Daniel Bolyard, Leroy Bobby Bolyard, JR. TN, , George Bolyard, TN, , and Jim Bolyard, Nocatee, FL., two daughters; Peggy Bolyard, FL and Cathy Bolyard, TN, a brother; Leonard (Barbara) Bolyard, Nocatee, FL. Leroy also leaves his father Robert Bolyard, three grandchildren, Cheyenne, Jobie Lee, and Lillian Marie, two x-wife s; Diane Bolyard, TN, Mary Bolyard, Bradenton, FL and Gloria Lowe (special friend and caregiver during his illness). He is preceded in death by his mother Edna Bolyard. A Celebration of Life ceremony will be held Saturday, May 14, 2011 at 2:00PM at the chapel of Ponger-Kays-Grady Funeral Home, 50 No. Hillsborough Ave., Arcadia, FL.
