Leoneida Gallegos de Tapia, 88, of Arcadia, FL passed away July 17, 2020. She was born November 6, 1931 and moved to this area in 1982.

She was a member of the Alpha Omega Assembly of God Pentecostal Church. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

Leoneida is survived by her husband Jenaro Tapia; children Beto & Isabel Barron, Maria Luisa Contreras, Pedro Sanchez Gallegos and Jose (Antonia) Sanchez; 35 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Pedro Gallegos, Pola Rejis, Miterio Gallegos and Aleja Nava. She was predeceased by loved ones, Juan Barron, Rodolfo Barron, Antonia Barron, Aurelio Barron, Carlos Barron and Manuel Barron.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 22nd, 2020 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Ponger-Kays-Grady Funeral Home, 50 N. Hillsborough, Arcadia, FL 34266. On Thursday, July 23rd, 2020 at 10:00 AM, a graveside service will be held at Joshua Creek Cemetery in Arcadia, FL.
