Leonard L. White, age 45, passed away Thursday, March 19, 2009 in Arcadia. He was born October 24, 1963 in Miami, Fl. moving with his family to Desoto County as a very young child. Leonard enjoyed fishing of any kind, boating on the Peace River, and camping with friends. Leonard also had another passion of a different kind; he did volunteer work and fund raising for Arc (Organization for persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities). Leonard owned and operated Leonard L. White, Inc., a commercial pressure cleaning company here in Arcadia. Leonard was of the Catholic Faith. Survivors include a brother, William Billy White of Arcadia, Fl. a first cousin, Linda Carlton, of Arcadia, Fl. two second cousins, Billy and Timmy Shirley, and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents Lewis and Adele White. Funeral Services will be at 3:00PM on Monday, March 23, 2009 at St. Edmonds Episcopal Church, Arcadia, Fl. with Father Jim Williamson.
