LeaRetta Conerly, age 92, was called to be with the Lord, Sunday, July 5, 2009 in Arcadia, FL. surrounded by her family. She was born March 18, 1917 in High Springs, Fl... For the past 5 years she had been living in Leesburg, FL. with her daughter Dian, moving from Tavares, FL of which she spent 25 years, and formerly from Perrine, Fl. She was of the Baptist faith and a member of the 1st Baptist Church of Tavares, FL. LeaRetta was a very caring and loving mother and grandmother and will be missed by her family very much. LeaRetta had several working interests throughout her life, she was an LPN and worked at Baptist Hospital, Kendal, FL, a licensed Florida Real Estate Broker and she and her family owned and operated Conerly Farms for over 40 years. She was a member of the Women s Club of Perrine, Fl. Survivors include a son, John Fred (Evelyn) Conerly, Jr. of Arcadia, FL, one daughter, Sandra Dian Kerr of Leesburg, FL, six grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Fred Conerly, Sr., and her parents Thomas M. and Sophrona L. Jeffords. Funeral services will be held graveside on Saturday, July 11, 2009 at 11:00AM at the Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery, 3612 NW 177th Ave., Gainesville, FL. with Pastor Daniel Kendall officiating.
