Lealon Hamp Rachel, age 79, passed away, Thursday morning, May 25, 2023, in Tampa, Florida. He was born February 6, 1944, to Warren and Margaret Rachel in Victoria, Alabama. Lealon was a Vietnam Veteran. He has lived in Arcadia for 66 years.

He is survived by his wife Laura and three children, one daughter Leslie Henderson, two sons Dewey (Rebecca) Rachel, George Rachel (fiancé Harmony). Two brothers Lamar (Alice) Rachel, Loyd (Diane) Rachel, and five sisters, Lonnie Faye Beal, Loretta (Rudd) Oder, Lorena (Lon) Ming, Bonnie (Robert) Rachel, Lorraine (Rob) Hodge. Three grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his mother Margaret Louise and father Warren Dewey Rachel, brother Larry, and sister in law Carolyn Rachel.
