Lawrence Larry Brady Roe, age 86, passed away June 3, 2010 in Arcadia, FL. Larry was born August 16, 1923 a lifelong resident of Arcadia. He was born August 16, 1923 in Arcadia, FL. to Arthur and Guilda Jones Roe. Larry was co-owner of the Coca Cola Bottling Company in Arcadia until it was sold. Larry was a member of and former president of the Kiwanis Club, Knights of Columbus, served as president of Alpha Tau Omega Fraternity at the University of Florida. He served as chair on the board for DeSoto Memorial Hospital. He was an accomplished chef. Larry was a member of St. Paul s Catholic Church. He was very active in the life of the church, serving communion to those who were homebound. Survivors are his beloved wife, Sarah Peggy Brown Roe, Arcadia, FL. a daughter: Sarah Roe and Son-in-law Andrew Bain, Atlanta, GA... He leaves a brother and sister-in-law Arthur I. (Mary Ann) Roe, Jr., Arcadia, FL., and three nieces . He is preceded in death by a brother, Alfred Roe and a sister Margaret Roe Murphy. A Memorial Mass will be at 11:00AM, Monday, June 7, 2010 at St. Paul s Catholic Church, Arcadia, FL.
