Laura M. McMullen Bentley, 89 of Arcadia, FL passed away February 09, 2008. She was born October 14, 1918 in Mayville, MI and moved to Arcadia, FL in 1974 from Millington, MI. Laura worked for the cut and sew department at General Motors for over 10 years. She was a sales clerk for McCory s Department Store in Arcadia, FL for several years. She loved and adored her children and grandchildren. Laura was of the Catholic Faith. She is survived by two daughters, Gale (Thomas) Wilson of Hale MI, Leslie (George) Cavas of Arcadia, FL; eleven grandchildren; twenty-five great grandchildren; and thirteen great-great grandchildren. Laura was preceded in death by her beloved husband E. Maurice Bentley in 1984 and one daughter Ellen Johnson. Visitation will be 6-8PM Tuesday, February 12, 2008 at Ponger-Kays-Grady Funeral Home 50 N Hillsborough Ave, in Arcadia, FL. Services will be 11:00AM, Wednesday, February 13, 2008 at Ponger-Kays-Grady Chapel. Burial will follow in Royal Palm Cemetery in Punta Gorda, FL.
