Laura Michelle Avant age 44 passed away on Thursday, December 22, 2022, in Arcadia, Florida. Laura was born to Larry Avant and Linda Deery on February 9, 1978.

Laura studied at DeSoto County School and had worked in the Home Health field. She was of the Baptist faith.

Laura loved talking with family and friends, nature, looking for shells, fossils and rocks. She had a love for music which she shared with others especially Harmony and Maizy.

She is survived by her father, Larry Avant and her mother Linda Deery, both of Arcadia. Also, her daughters Harmony and Maizy and Smoky plus another very close relative Delaney Deery, her uncle Alan Evers, Aunt Sharon Bowers and her special four-legged pet, Ruby.

She is preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Leslie and Irma Avant, maternal grandparents Harry and Maxine Evers, uncles Richard Avant and Harry B. Evers.

The visitation is for family only. There will be a graveside service on December 30, 2022, at 11:30A.M. at the Joshua Creek Cemetery with Pastor Ellis Cross officiating.
