Larry J. Simmer, 68, passed away peacefully in his hometown of Arcadia, Florida on April 20th, 2026. He was born in Bath, Michigan on August 28th, 1957, to Lawerence and Rose Crane Headley Simmer. Larry lived in the town of Arcadia for 20 years where he enjoyed camping
and fishing with his family, especially his grandsons. Larry was very fond of animals and raised many cats and dogs which he loved.

Larry is survived by his wife: Susan Simmer; his daughter and son-in-law: Rowan and Ned McClellan and his three grandchildren: Noah, Morgan, and Andrew. He is also survived by his other daughter Jodi McCall and his sister Rusta Sexton.
