Kimberly Shawn Smith, lifelong resident of this area passed away on January 3, 2023. She graduated from Southeast High School in Bradenton, Florida in 1983 and from there pursued a career in the Dental Field.

She was a Dental Office Manager and was employed by Tiffany Square Dental.  Her greatest accomplishments were her family and her career in the Dental field.

She was a member at Mill Creek Baptist Church as well as Pine Level United Methodist Church.

She was multi-talented, in art, and music. As well as her love of travel and scary movies.

She was a strong woman who was determined, faithful, honest, a dreamer and was a free spirit.

She is survived by her mother Brenda Strickland, her spouse, Dr. David Smith, her children, Britt & Zac Pulitzer, Beth & Luke Turner, Michaela Wallace, Joe Smith, Keeley Karatinos, and Jacob Smith. She also has two sisters, Melissa Raynor and Allison Insley as well as seven grandchildren and five nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her father William Thomas Strickland.

There will be a Celebration of Life on Friday, January 6, 2023, from 12:00pm – 4:00pm at 3604 SE Montgomery Circle, Arcadia, Florida 34266.
