Kenneth J. Sleeper, age 77, passed away Thursday, December 11, 2008 in Port Charlotte, Fl. He was born on September 10, 1931 in Frankfort, MI. moving to Arcadia 40 years ago from there. Kenneth was a loving, caring family man, when he wasn t working as a professional truck driver you would find him at home making improvements to the house or yard. He enjoyed fishing and animals like rising hogs. Kenneth served our country in the US Army and was of the protestant faith. Survivors include his wife Evelyn L. Sleeper of Arcadia, Fl., one son Tony (Beth) Reed of Arcadia, Fl., three daughters; Lisa (Keith) Nickolson of Punta Gorda, Fl.,Charlene Crews, Vero Beach, Fl., and Debbie Wilson Goss, Nocatee, Fl., two sisters Joyce Kendleton and Shirley Pierce both of Frankfort, MI.and six grandchildren Abby,and Jill, Punta Gorda, Fl. Randy and Hilary. Arcadia,Fl. Larry Blackmon, and Taylor Crews, both of Vero Beach, Fl. He was preceded in death by his parents Walter and Mildred Peters and two brothers Donald and Larry Sleeper. Memorial Services and Celebration of his life will be held Saturday December 20, 2008 at 11:00AM graveside Joshua Creek Cemetery with Rev.
